Iris Apfel is a fashion ICON. She has been a businesswoman, interior decorator for various presidents, and overall fashionista! She is known for her eccentric style and accessories!

Born and bred in the fashion capital of the world, New York City. She got her start working for Women's Wear Daily and for the interior designer Elinor Johnson. She also was an assistant to illustrator Robert Goodman.

Later after meeting her husband they started their own textile firm Old World Weavers and it ran until they both retired in 1992. She also has been involved in several design projects under several presidents at the White House.
