Aaliyah Dana Haughton, better known as Aaliyah was not only a fashion trendsetter but a popular singer and budding actress.

She had her first big break at age 12 with Jive Records and her popularity only grew more and more. Her debut album Age Ain't Nothing But a Number, produced by R. Kelly sold a million copies. She went on to make two more chart-topping albums and starred in various movies before her early death.

Aaliyah, as a style icon in her own right was one of the first females to start the Tomboy wave. She was showing women you don't have to dress scantily clad to be beautiful. In honor of her birthday, she is the Baddie of the Week. Rest in peace baby girl!
